Last night the Economic Crimes Directorate, along with the IPK, raided the home of police officer Lutfi Mendqi, allegedly evidence has been found linking the case under the Directorate of Economic Crimes.
From the investigation, it turns out that even investigator Skender Xhema may be involved, but the circumstances towards him will be clarified during the ongoing investigation. He has been suspended, but further investigation is expected, writes Time.net.
For allegations of corruption, last night the economic crimes investigator, Ramadan Osmani, was arrested. A little later, Kosovo police have arrested police officer Lutfi Mendzic, under suspicion of corruption, bribery and misuse of official office.
