Larry Tessler, an early computer icon, has died at the age of 74.
He started working in Silicon Valley in the early 1960s, at a time when computers were peaceful for most people.
Thanks to his innovations involving “cut” (cate), “copy” (copy) and “pass” (barte) computer became simpler to learn and be used.
His commands were injected into computer software “Lisa” in 1983 and in Macintosh that was launched a year later, the BBC writes.
Tessler was born in the Bronx in New York in 1945. He studied at Stanford University in California.
After graduation, it specialised in drafting the user interface to make computer systems more suitable for users.
He worked in many big companies in his career, including Apple, where he spent 17 years. After leaving Apple, Tessler opened his own company and worked for the Amazon and Yahoo.
