The Kosovo delegation that has signed this agreement was comprised of Xhema Veselin, director of the Road Transport and Rame Qupeva, director of the Road Infrastructure.
While on the Serbian side, it has been the director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Marko Djuric, who has signed the document.
This agreement is signed in the presence of President Hashim Thaci and his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vuciq. Also present were US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Costnet and US Ambassador to Germany Richard Green.
Through these letters, Kosovo and Serbia display readiness to reopen roads that are part of railway and road corridors, as well as construction of new roads linking the two capitals to each other, as well as Europe.
In January, Kosovo and Serbia also signed the deal, which came unexpectedly for the reopening of the airline between Pristina and Belgrade.
