Throughout my political engagement, I've been away for almost two decades: observing your will.

I have had a reference all my life in politics: Dr. Ibrahim Rugova.

Never, despite obstacles along the way, have I stopped working so that the will of the citizens of our Republic can be lived.

I thank all the citizens of Kosovo who never stopped believing it is their vote and will to make the big difference in our beloved country.

I thank all MPs for their faith in the decision of the Republic of Kosovo, the temple of democracy where the sovereign is represented. I thank the Democratic League of Kosovo, my 20-year party, for my faith and support.

I wish the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, led by Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the entire cabinet for
Taking office and I hope that their work will make us all proud. We will work hard and together with each other and with the friends of Kosovo that this country is worthy of never leaving.

Never, dear citizens, will we forget that we are there for you and for every inch of Kosovo. Each of us is grateful to you and to your will until humility.
Our greatest honor for all those who sacrificed everything for our freedom, even for their lives, will be whether with honor and responsibility we work for the living and if Kosovo is made a place by which generations after us take pride.
