Opposition Against Removal of Tax, Warnings of Out-of-Tinual Action

The three opposition parties, P The DK, AAK and Initiative are considering the removal of the 100 per cent fee to Serbian goods and the deployment of full political, economic and trade reciprocity measures. Former authorities are determined to prevent this and say they can take institutional action as well. [...]
Chairman The PDK, the opposition leader at once, Kadri Veseline expressed his concern, as Prime Minister Kurti's haste to meet Serbia's demands. Meanwhile, he says there should be no political maneuvering on this sensitive subject.
“Taxa against Serbian imports has been the dignified decision of our state to counter the successive attacks Serbia has made against Kosovo. Expressing concern about the new prime minister's excessive haste to meet Serbia's demands and settle the Serbian List, which left the past government due to tax”, he wrote on the social network, Facebook.
Stronger in attitudes expressed the other two opposition parties, even in former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's party, say the tax in any form should not depart.
AAK MP Rasim Peaceaj for Kosova Prees says that as opposition we will reject any claim of her departure, until he stressed that besides an extraordinary plenary session, other methods may be used.
“We think and are convinced that the tax should remain in force because it is a powerful argument in dialogue with Serbia. As for reciprocity, it's okay to set up this measure, but that doesn't mean tax evasion... one of the possibilities is an extraordinary session, we'll see what our activities will be to counter tax removal”, he says.
While the head of the initiative's parliamentary group, Haxhi Shala, tells Kosovo that new power statements since the first days of work on tax evasion are urgent. It requires better analysis of what full reciprocity should be
The admission is given that if we remove the tax so quickly, without what conditions the dock is as hasty on the part of the prime minister and parliament speaker... we have not yet discussed our party, I believe we will soon come out with a stance. They will show in the Kosovo Assembly, whether tax evasion has been done well, or not”, Shala said.
Today morning, Chief Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani again stressed that the tariff on Serbian goods will be removed and that the measures of reciprocity will be imposed on them instead.
The country's “prime minister yesterday fairly confirmed that full reconciliation for the tariff and not taxes to be imposed with reciprocity in relation to Serbia. Of course, we as the Kosovo Assembly do not make that decision, but the government of Kosovo ... there is absolutely such reconciliation is part of our government programme between the two coalition partners”, she has said.
Otherwise, today former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has written an open letter to the prime minister, Albin Kurti, not to remove the 100 per cent tax on Serbia.
