In most municipalities it has already been decided that Sunday on the basis of the law will be a day off.
But it is the municipality of Gjilan that still forces private business workers to work on Sundays.
Even the Communists of this municipality have repeatedly rejected the decision.
Kosovo Assembly MP from the LDK ranks Valentina Bunnjaku-Rexhepi said Sunday must become a holiday in Gjilan.
Bucnjak-Rexhepi stressed that workers must have sufficient rest and that, according to her, eight hours of work, eight sleeps and eight breaks per day are more conventionable.

Sunday, take a day off in Gjilan
Really, Sunday, it's supposed to be a day off in Gjilan. Workers should have enough rest, free time for their families and have fun. Forty hours a week, that's enough. Eight hours of work, eight sleeps and eight breaks a day. We have a life and must all live with dignity. Every Sunday off, even in our town.
