Today it becomes known who the LDK candidate for Podujevo chairman will be.

The news has been made known by the deputy head of this municipality, Nexmi Rudari.

Rudari has told Express that today they will gather to decide on the candidate name for the first municipality. So far, it says there is no name that has been mentioned in this position.

So far it's not about any other name. Tomorrow (Saturday) the heads of the submarines are gathering and deciding who will be candidate”, Rudari told Express.

However, Express finds that Rudari has already been decided to be the candidate of this party, though he has denied it.

Otherwise, Podujevo will go to extraordinary elections, following Agim Veliu's appointment to the post of Interior Minister.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has decided that elections in this municipality will be held on 15 March 2020.
