The Drenas municipality, with concern, has received reports from social media, that there has been an exercise of physical violence against a student from a teacher at lower elementary school “Rasim Kichina.
Immediately after receiving this announcement, Mayor Ramiz Ladrovci has asked the Municipal Education Directorate to take all measures, in line with applicable laws, in this case, The DKA has initiated the teaching disciplinary Commission as well as the other responsible persons of this educational institution.
Also, Chairman Laddrovci, based on his competencies, has announced the Police Station in Drenas, the Centre for Social Work, in order to take the necessary actions.
Such cases are unacceptable and punishable, so they will not be tolerated. Mayor Ladrovci and the Municipal Education Directorate condemn this act of physical violence, and any other action that conflicts with the laws and administrative guidelines regulating pre-university education in Kosovo.
Education staff have proven great commitment in the educational and educational process, and such isolated cases do not diminish their commitment to quality teaching and teaching.
