Before MPs, Kurti said his programme addresses each area and affects each citizen. According to him, the promises of October 6 are alive with this program.
Honored Parliamentary deputies, beloved citizens of the Republic, brilliantly ambassador, international representatives, mayors, families of martyrs. Honored ones present allow me to begin with what is most important - our government program for which we are both representative and soon as government. The full programme will be released on the official page, but I'm here extending part of it. We have a program that addresses each field and affects every citizen. With this programme we live up to the promises of October 6th, of this day that marked the big political change in the country, which we are now institutionalising along with new government”, Kurti said.
The LVV leader also said it would be the government of saving public money and with fewer expenses in office and privileges to spend more on development projects.
We're going to be a government of public money savings, as you see before me, there's going to be 15 ministers, not 21 as they were. We'll have about 33 deputy ministers, not over 80 as soon as they were. Thus, less spending on office and privileges to spend more on development projects. We will departisanise and depoliticise agencies and public enterprises, reduce and restructure them, and establish measurable indicators to regulate the quality and measure both success and failure”, he said.
He also during the presentation of his governing programme, said they would be economic development and employment governments to prevent mass migration, promote employment and increase productivity.
Kurti also said that in his governing mandate, the budget will be three billion euros.
We will depart the foreign service through a functional review based on performance and results. We will be economic development and employment governments to stop mass migration, promote employment and increase productivity, we need a programme that stimulates economic development. Therefore, we will support the development of entrepreneurship overall with particular focus aid to small and medium-sized enterprises and production industries. The entrepreneurs are viewed as key partners in opening new jobs and in economic development”, Kurti said.
Kurti also said they would level the race for businesses by removing monopolies and eliminating tax evasion, under which there are more black and grey stock in Kosovo today than free market, and that he said it would be changed.
Kurti said that also priorities in his programme are order, justice, security, education and health.
