General Riesi stressed KFOR's commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all Kosovo citizens, supporting EU-sponsored dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
At the end of the visit, Ambassador Di Maio met with Italian KFOR soldiers and expressed his deep appreciation for the long-standing role played by NATO and the Italian contingent in supporting peace and stability in the region.
