Masumeh Ebtekaker is among 254 people infected with this virus in the Middle East country, where 26 people have died since the explosion so far.
Ebtaker is best known internationally as the person he communicated in English for the kidnappers who took over the American Embassy in Tehran in 1979, causing a 444-day diplomatic crisis.
Iran is currently fighting the spread of the deadly virus, broadcasting the Clen Kosovo.
Coronervirus cases here rose for 106 over the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry announced on Thursday.
The country's death toll from the blast is higher than any country, except for China, where the epidemic began.
