The court rejected the prosecution's request, Fadil Shundaj, to be called to witness all prime ministers, starting by Hashim Thaci, Isa Mustafa and Ramush Haradinaj.
The chairman of the court, Nushe Kukaj-Mekay, said this proposal was derived from all other indictees.
In the case known as “Veterians” accused of being Agim Ceku, Nuredin Lushtaku, Shukri Buja, Rrustem Berisha, Faik Fazliu, Smajl Elezaj, Fadil Shudreaj, Sadik Halitija, Shumbin Demaliyaaj, Chele Gashi, Ahmet Dacu and Jawittari.
According to the indictment of 2018, compiled by former prosecutor Elez Blakaj, the people involved are charged that between 2011 and 2017, acting as members of the Government Commission for recognition and Verification of the Status of the Nation's Witness, Invalid, Veterans, Partitarians and the Intervention of the Kosovo Liberation Army War, have used official office and authority, overstepping the competencies and failing to fulfill official duties.
