From the date 08.02 to 27.02.2020, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKSHPK with the method r RT- The PCR, in all, has tested 23 suspicious samples of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and all have resulted in negative.
Kosovo's National Public Health Institute (IKSHPK) during today's February 27th 2020, has received information from the CKUK Infectious Clinic about such suspicious cases at COVID-19.
Patients were searched by the infected team at the Infectious Clinic at QKUK and received samples for laboratory testing in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and Influence A and B.
By 27.02.2020, six patients tested in the SARS CoV-2 and influential A and B have resulted negative in all three tests, that is, all six patients are not infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and Influence A and B.

Monitoring activities, preventing widespread spread risk COVID-19
At the meeting held at the Ministry of Health with relevant government institutions, the health minister today decided to establish the Steering Committee for managing the emergency situation with COVIID-19, the pre-eminent body with the Readiness and Answer Plan.
The Committee to Monitor infectious diseases has found that monitoring measures, preventing the spread of COVID-19 consisting of:

The activities recommended by the Committee to Monitor Infectious Diseases have continued with measures for preventing the virus in Kosovo educational institutions that consist in:

- Sharing educational materials and health promotions, mailmen and notebooks.
- The organisation of lectures devoted to knowledge of COVID- 19, organised by educators and professors with the support of IKSHPK public health specialists.

IK The KPS points out that there is no room for panic but for added caution by repeating recommendations:

- Avoid close contact with people who suffer from acute respiratory infections!
- Whenever possible, avoid greeting with a handshake.
- Avoid hugs and kisses as long as you are in danger of respiratory infections!
- Wash your hands often, especially after direct contact with sick people or at home!
- Wash your hands as soon as you get home!
- Wash your hands before you start preparing food!
- Wash your hands after using the toilet!
- Wash your hands as often as you can with soap and water 2030 seconds, especially after direct contact with sick people or at home!
- Avoid the use of public toilets!
- Wash your hands every time you sneeze or cough!
- Avoid touching your face, and cover your mouth and nose with bandages, sleeves, or forearms during coughing and sneezing. Then drop the bandages used in the nearest waste basket!
- If you have fever, cough, and trouble breathing, seek medical help immediately and tell the evental story of travel abroad!
- Sick people must stay at home in order to prevent the spread of the disease!
- Do not frequent closed and crowded environments!
- Drink as much water, juice, lemon tea!
- The elderly and the chronically ill if they use public transportation to use masks!
- During your trip, use packed food!
- People who have been in Wuhan province, China, Lombardi, Venice, Italy, or areas affected by COVID-19 in the last two weeks and have fever, cough, or breathing difficulties must immediately seek medical help!
- Within the facilities of health care institutions, to strengthen the standard practice of preventing infection and control in hospitals, especially in emergency services!
- IK The KPS recommends that everyone not travel to China or countries with Coronavirus if not necessary!
Globally, from December 31, 2019 to February 27, 2020, a total of 82 132 cases of COVID-19 and a total of 2801 cases of death were reported, until the EU and United Kingdom, 477 cases with COVID-19 and 14 cases of death, Italy (12) and France (2).
In the event of changing or worsening the epidemiological situation with COVID-19 in Kosovo, recommendations could undergo changes. Citizens will be informed in real time of any such eventual change.
