The idea for mini-Shengen, the EU isn't backing it.

The regional initiative, called <x0mini-segeni” Balkan is not receiving the support of the European Union. While there are about four months from the first meeting in Novi Sad, and then in Ohrid, Tirana, no senior EU officials have given support to this idea in any important document. So they declare [...]
According to Demush Shasha from the Institute of Epikı, the idea of the Balkan minister has died and the only rebirth can be experienced within the Berlin process.
The “now takes four months since the launch of the mini-sengen in Novi-Sad. It has been four months since no top EU officials, no relevant EU document has specifically backed the mini-Sengen idea. This has one reason that the driving mini goals are in full duplication with the Berlin process. Therefore, no sense of starting a new process, since the Berlin process is now in four to five years... recognizing that it is an idea aimed at four fundamental EU freedoms and knowing that no senior EU official is backing this idea at all, I consider that this idea has died and that the only rebirth can experience within the Berlin process... is an element that aims for an initiative aimed at four fundamental EU freedoms not to be discussed by the EU at all and not at all as part of Western Balkan leaders' discussions. Therefore, it is in itself that message to all Western Balkan countries that the EU does not see it as a priority and does not provide support for this” initiative, he says.
Skeptic that this initiative will be completed is also the director of the organisation “Arise”, Arton Demhasaj.
I don't believe that the EU or the US spend energy, or money on such an idea that they may be temporary because all of these claim to be part of the EU. Maybe that's why we have a reluctance to support this idea. Whether from European Union officials or from the US”, he says.
While, political analyst Faton Abdullahu called on the new government to be clearer for this regional initiative.
Kosovo in general and our government in particular has no clear access to mini-sengenite. It should be much clearer in his decisions and intentions to give us the reasons he's against the mini-sengen. To know all the reasons to be against you, he says.
