Former Labour and Social Management Minister (MMPS), Skender Recica, has handed over to new Economy, Employment, Industry and Strategic Investments Minister Roseta Hajdari today.
In this case, Serbian Minister Skender Recica has announced the new minister's work as minister and undertaken reforms.
“Reform in the legal field that covers this ministry, because we have inherited an earlier legal framework and analyzed with socioeconomic circumstances in the country, there has now been a need for reform such as the one from the one in the pension system, social services, social assistance, labour relations and the empowerment of the Labour Inspectorate. We have come so far to have a portion of the laws in Parliament under way, which some of them have passed to the first reading, but unfortunately it happened with the distribution of the Parliament and they have been almost unfinished to reading the second, finale, adoption, such as the labour law, the Law for Inspectorate”, he said.
Recica said that during his mandate good work has been done in co-operation with the entire ministry staff. While, Minister Roseta Hajdari said they will continue all good works that have been initiated by this minister, with focus on the employment issue.
I commend you for all the work you've done so far, I hope that with the competence I find in this ministry, we will have continued sound processes that have been initiated by this ministry. I hope to find close cooperation the way you mentioned it, so I will succeed with you. Only as minister now do I not believe that I can succeed alone without civil servants, without colleagues from all directors and employment agencies. I have come to receive the mandate for portfolio employment which is a very important issue for Kosovo, especially when we consider youth, the new population that is unemployed. With the new government plan, concrete steps must be taken on what and how to address the employment issue”, Hajdari said.
In addition to the Ministry of Labour and Social Management, Hajdari has accepted the post of minister during the day by current Trade and Industry Minister Andrit Shala, Economic Development Minister Valdrin Luka and Minister of Innovation and Undertaking Muzafer Shala
