Hard winds in Istog, a cop gets hurt while he was on duty.

On the evening of February 5th, Mahmut Demaj, police on the preservation unit of historical monuments in the Dukagjin region, was on duty from the great winds suffered serious injuries.

Because of the situation, it was impossible to offer self-detective assistance. In this situation, it was Sabadud Sijaric, a technician in the Istog emergency who offered his first aid with his private car and sent him to the Pec Hospital.

“We've offered the first aid show to stop the bleeding. He wasn't conscious. It's very difficult to transport him to Peja Hospital”, says the technician at the Sabadud Sijaric emergency.

The case has also been confirmed by Jevat Ibraj, director of regional police in the Pec municipality.

When around 10:15 p.m. on February 5, 2020, we received information that a police officer was injured in the municipality of Istog because of strong winds at his place of work at the Church of Istog”, police report reported.
