Government Downloads Infraco Board

The Kosovo government at today's meeting that it is holding has downloaded the board of directors of the Central Public Company “Kosovo-Infracos”.

The economy ministry, Roseta Hajdari, arguing that decision, said the Infrako Railways Board has made violations of official duties.

“Bord has delayed legal obligations without reason”, she said.

The government claims violations and sacks the board, which has violated tasks that they have not taken action against the head of the company, which was charged with violations of office, Agron Thaci. The work concerns damage to property and company during the” mandate, Hajdari said.

The government cabinet leading Prime Minister Albin Kurti has abolished the government's decision to change the excise rate in tobacco.

Finance Minister Besnik Bislimi in his reasoning on this decision, said the decision of the past government has not been appropriate and has deregulated the market.

The Kosovo government has earmarked 200 thousand euros in support of Albania for sancing damages from last November 26th earthquake last year.

At today's cabinet meeting Kurti's decision was made to ask the president, Hashim Thaci is granting authorisation, Finance and Transfers to sign the agreement between Kosovo and the EU for Kosovo's participation in the EU programme “Coms 2020”.
