How France and Germany were able to isolate the coronavirus

But while the epidemic has spread from North to South within days in the neighbouring country, the effects of the deadly virus in other European countries have been limited. In France and Germany, where the first coronavirus cases in Europe appeared, authorities have been monitoring all airports, ports, and train stations for nearly two months.

Now, a total of 108 hospitals, with at least one in each part of France's continent, have been prepared to take, isolate, and deal with the cases of coronary.

In the first days of the explosion across France, pharmacists reported the sale of surgical masks, but former health minister Agnès Buzyn said these are not effective in protecting people from the virus.
