The failure of Minister of Economy, Labour, Trade, Industry, Strategic Investments, Roseta Hajdari, before the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2019-2021, has prompted this document to withdraw from the Public Consulting Platform. The plan has come into consultation Wednesday this week and was envisioned to be open for comments by March 3rd this year.
Newspapers on Thursday wrote about this document. Based on this document, the Kosovo thermal power plant “A” would be deactivated and replaced with the “New Kosovo thermal power plant in 2020-23. The current government partners ? LVV has rejected the construction of this thermal power plant, while the LDK has said it does not support the past government agreement with the company “Contour Global” for its construction, writes today “Koha Ditore”.
“Koha Ditore” on Wednesday had tried to get answers to this plan from Economy, Labour, Trade, Industry, Strategic Investments Undertaking, Roseta Hajdari, but it has not responded. It has not responded even after the Plan's withdrawal from public consultation.
But a brief response to the reason for the withdrawal has been given by Kosovo Agency for Energy Efficiency Director Arsim Kuliqi. According to him, the document was issued in public consultation without the approval of Minister Hajdari.
