Bikers are concerned about the high level of air pollution in Pristina, resulting from the dominance of motor vehicles on the streets of the capital.
In addition to the minimum terms of infrastructure and poor security for the cycling community, riders now face unhealthy air, as under such poor air quality conditions are not recommended to unscramble.
In this case, riders today will express their concern in a march.
Organisers say the march is aimed at awareness of society towards using stable and friendly transportation to the point of the bicycle.
Bikers will be launched at 12:00 by the Kosovo Hydromethorology Institute at the entrance of Pristina as their march ends at the Germ park.
The gear handler has a 7km length, while all activity is kept within the “Chilo secure Pristina” project.
The “Cyclo secure Pristina” project is part of the “Empower Engineering é Build Owenshire” project, financed by European Union funds, managed by the EU Office in Kosovo European Union Kosovo, supported by Balkan Green Foundation and Institute for Development Policy (INDEP) and implemented by the Alpin Pristina Club.
