The medicine is called Remdesivir and has been studied to fight Ebola virus. The newspaper reports that this antiviral also seems to work against the coronary.
The medicine is also being used in patients in Lombard. Nicola Petrosillo, director of the Spalenzani hospital, said it is a very promising therapy, without strong side effects.
