The two sides are on track for a difficult first round of talks, which begin Monday and on which new relations must be agreed after Britain leaves the EU.

Great Britain and the EU want a free trade agreement, but have very different views on how to monitor and what constitutes competition between their two economies, the AP broadcasts.

The British government today has ruled out the possibility of respecting EU rules, which Union would like, in exchange for a favourable free trade agreement.

“The government will not negotiate any agreement in which Brit the Great Ship would have no control over its political laws and life”, the British government announced today.

The British document was issued two days after the European Union approved its negotiating positions for complex conversations starting Monday.

Official London has threatened to withdraw from EU negotiations already in June by the end of this year if there is no serious prospect for a deal. The British government hopes that the key <x0-parities of the” agreement will be established by June.

If that does not happen, the Government must decide whether the attention of Great Britain should be taken away from negotiations and focus on continuing EU exit preparations without agreement on December 31st.

The EU believes that if the two sides reach agreement, the EU must agree to follow its rules in the areas of state aid to protect the environment, and allow European fishing boats to access British waters.

Great Britain is seeking to deviate from EU regulations to be able to connect new trade agreements worldwide and strengthen the British economy.

“In an effort to reach an agreement, we will not trade with our sovereignty,” said Michael Gov, the minister responsible for preparing Brex in the Parliament's Lower Chamber.

Great Britain left the EU on 31 January, but remains obliged by EU regulations until the end of the transition period on December 31st.

Under the deal, the transition period is allowed to last another two years, but British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he would not agree and that his country would leave the EU on 1 January 2021, including the only market for goods and services trade.

British negotiating guidelines show that the time to raise an agreement is “limited, but enough”.

The British government's document says that the overall “skice of the Agreement” should be completed by June, and if not, London will suspend negotiations and focus on internal preparations for “exit from the transition period in an organised”.
