Kosovo's “American Trade Chamber expresses its concerns about the decision of several municipal assemblies across Kosovo to prevent businesses from working on Sundays, which would limit economic activities, and ultimately slow down overall economic growth. ”
The U.S. Department believes that restricting business work will further increase unemployment, contrary to overall efforts to strengthen the private sector, create new jobs and improve the welfare of citizens.”, the American House response said.
They asked the municipalities to reconsider their decision.
“Finally, the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo calls on municipalities to review their decisions and to take into account private sector concerns before making any decision limiting their functioning.”, Oda said.
