Among the countries that have considered the initiative has been New Zealand, and starting this week, its population will work only four days a week. Unilever has become the latest company to undertake this initiative, apparently allowing employees to choose what day they wanted to work on, and this is projected to last a year. While it used to be the tea distributor, the Lipton, the soaps 'Dove' and the ice creams ben & Jerry.
They even let their employees go free to choose their four favorite days to work each week. This test will take place for a year in a row, and if effective, I can place points on the permanent contract.
It was New Zealand Prime Minister Yacinda Ardern himself who suggested that citizens work only four days a week ago as a good opportunity to start tourism and restore the economy after the coronary pandemic.
