Two tons of marijuana had been stolen on December 3rd in the Josifov municipality near the town of Vallandovo in southeastern northern Macedonia.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs is acting effectively. Part of what had been stolen in the Vallandovo region has already been discovered in the area of Harachina, a part is in Kosovo, services are working to uncover it to the end and bring to justice all responsibility”, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has declared at an online news conference in Skopje.
After reporting on the theft of narcotics, Macedonian police on December 7th had carried out a large action in the village of Harachine in Skopje, where 231kg of marijuana have been found. Several people were arrested during the police action, but other details were not provided.
