MPs from the Vetevendosje Movement have surrendered to the Special Prosecutor's Prosecutor's Office, regarding the lack and supply of medical oxygen to Kosovo hospitals.

Before the surrender, there will be a media proposal so we invite you to follow us.

LVV MP Fitim Uka said they have accepted a few complaints from citizens and health staff regarding the lack of oxygen in hospitals, which has led them to hand over this criminal outcry.

“To hand over criminal gossip to two persons responsible for the Kosovo pandemic situation, which is the minister of health and the director of the USKKUK. First we've chosen other options to address these concerns. We're trying through the Parliamentary Assembly and Commission, we have no choice. So for us this is a scandal in itself, in the first place it's a scandal that these hospitals are being supplied by unlicensed companies, and the second is a scandal that this minister has not told the truth in relation to the state that has existed with oxygen”, he said.

According to him, for two or three weeks patients have been forced to buy basic antiCondete therapy.

The MP's legal representative, Gatoar Doctor, said both officials are suspected of having committed criminal work.

The “is about risking the lives of the population and failing to fulfill the task of senior officials, which is primary responsibility, especially at the time of the pandemic, are behind the struggle and prevention of the Ovid-19” pandemic, he said.

MP Uka has also been asked about family members who stay in rooms along with patients with Covid, saying this is unacceptable.

He said citizens are obliged to stay at these clinics due to lack of health services, lack of medicine, but there are many cases that have also complained about food quality.
