Vuciq said they will recognise Kosovo as a state, the MPJ minister reacts: Serbia to exclude itself from dialogue

According to Kosovo's top diplomat, such a statement means Serbia excludes itself from the dialogue process by 2022, and that the EU mediator believes full normalisation does not necessarily mean mutual recognition.

“Declaration that Serbia will not recognise Kosovo by April 2022 raises two joint exclusive hypothesiss. Serbia excludes itself from the process of dialogue facilitated by the EU until 2022, or the mediator believes complete normalisation does not necessarily imply mutual recognition”, Haradinaj- Stublla wrote.

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq said recognition of Kosovo independence will not happen until he is president.

His mandate is until April 22, 2022.
