The Constitutional Court on 21 December has estimated that MP Ethem Arifi's vote for the election of the government on 3 June is not legitimate, since the latter is convicted of criminal offence, so the country must go to the polls within 40 days.
After the end of meetings and sideline discussions with all political subjects, Osmani has stressed that once the parties receive the full Constitutional Court Act, the date will immediately be set for holding extraordinary elections.
The prosecution of the president's office has indicated that she will hold meetings with the CEC as well as other relevant institutions so that the election organisation can take place according to higher standards.
