Vjosa Osmani cuts William Walker's contract

It was he who showed the world that genocide was being carried out in Kosovo. Thanks to his statement, the world turned its attention to Kosovo

But Ambassador William Walker's lobby never stopped for Kosovo.

Finally, he did so after a contract was signed in August between the office of Kosovo President and Ambassador William Walker's Foundation.

His commitment was to advise Hashim Thaci.

And for those consultations he carried out, the foundation paid $7,000 a month.

However, such a contract between the presidency and the ambassador's foundation is no longer in force.

Although it had deadlines by the end of this month, it has already abolished President Vjosa Osmani's task officer.

The latter, however, does not accept that.

Asked by Television 7 , says the contract has expired.

And the reports of jobs conducted with this contract are not found in the Presidency.

“We have requested access to all reports of jobs performed over the time that that contract was in effect, but so far they have not been found in Presidencys”

According to the former member of the Parliamentary Commission for Lobbby Nagavci, even in the time of this communique, reports were turned in incomplete.

Even from the Kosovo Institute for Justice, they estimate that institutions should be transparent, as doubts arise.

When institutions try not to be transparent, there is doubt of what is being hidden. Kosovo needs lobbies, should be transparent as much as the country's interest” allows, Ehat Miftaraj of KDI has said.

Miftaraj also comments on Osman's decision to abolish the contract.

According to him, when it comes to such agreements with prominent figures, it should be careful not to affect personality.
