Vetevendosje requires the Constitution to declare Etem Arifi and Government vote invalid

Blerim Sallah, a member of the Vetevendosje Movement, said Etem Arifi has lost the MP's mandate, has been convicted, and thus cannot hold his vote on the Hoti Government.
“To understand the contentious issue, we remind the Constitution that suspension or restricting political rights is provided by law. Etem Arifi was not supposed to be certified as deputy because he was sentenced to effective prison. It's a total legal responsibility. His vote should be declared no constitutional, as should the Hoti” Government, Sa God said.
Arifi was one of 61 deputies who voted for the selection of the Hoti Government, following the dismissal of the Vetvendosje Movement Kurti government.
And for the latter, the VV claims that the Ashkali Party deputy vote is unvalid for the fact that he has been sentenced to one year and three months in prison for subsidies fraud.
Despite the sentence of the firm form of 2019, Arifi participated in two Assembly hearings on March 25th, voting for the collapse of Kurti Government, while at the June 3rd session his vote was crucial to forming the new government run by Avdullah Hoti of the LDK, which was part of the ruling coalition with Vetevendosje for 50 days.
