Uke Bytyci's murder serving prison sentence

It was 2003 when the court in Prizren had sentenced Kryeziu to prison for killing the former head of the Suhareka municipality, along with his two supporters, Buffi Bajrami and Bajram Bytyci.

Kryeziu had killed Bytyqi on October 27, 2001. According to the court's announcement at the time it was said that Kryeziu had carried out the assassination hours after the local elections that were held that year.

Prizren's “Dykat sentenced the assassination of Suhareka Mayor Uke Bytyci to 20 years in prison. Bytyci, a member of the Democratic League of Kosovo, was killed on October 27th last year, hours after being elected to the mayor of Suhareka. The event took place immediately after the publication of the local election results, which won Rugova's party candidate, Bytychin”, was said in part after the court's ruling on June 19th 2002.
