This explosion has caused fire in the intensive care unit at University Hospital “Sanko” in Gaziantep, local officials say.
At least one of the patients died while being transferred to another hospital.
Turkey has recorded nearly two million cases of COVID-19 and 17,610 deaths, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
