The total number of dead in the country is 15.314, the ministry said, Reuters reports.
The number of newly infected also reached a record 33.198 cases in the last 24 hours, which is the highest daily number of COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
Turkey is fourth in the world in the number of new cases of coronary post-US, India and Brazil, which have much more inhabitants.
The Turkish government has introduced a <x0locking” complete over the weekend and a curfew during the week to reduce the number of new corruption cases.
