United States President Donald Trump has again made groundless claims regarding the November presidential elections during a rally in Georgia.
Trump, who has yet to accept defeat, has raised doubts about the integrity of the 3 November elections and on December 5th, during a rally in Georgia, reiterated false claims about the elections, where he has won the democrat counterCandidate, Joe Biden.
Trump told thousands of people gathered in Waldosta, Jogia that the elections were “manipulated”.
President Trump continues to make groundless claims concerning election fraud, despite courts and election officials in key states throughout the country, have rejected these claims.
Out of almost 50 indictments that have been brought to the courts by the Trump campaign and its allies, 30 have been dismissed, mainly for lack of evidence, the Associated Press reported. And dozens more are still in procedure.
During this rally, Trump said he would send “soon to the Supreme Court the subject for these claims, but did not elaborate more. Legal experts say these claims are unlikely to be taken into account by the courts.
One of Trump's team requirements is to declare the results in Georgia invalid.
Recounting of votes has already been made in this state, and no major irregularities have been found. The recount has confirmed the winning Biden in this state by 12,670 more votes than Trump. Georgia has certified the election outcome.
Biden has won elections with 306 electoral votes, meanwhile, Trump has 232 electoral votes. The Electoral College will convene on 14 December to form the election outcome. The transfer of power has begun, and Beden is expected to be inaugurated on January 20th.
