O BSH warned today that COVID-19 broadcast throughout the European region continues to remain widespread and intense, demanding that they wear masks at Christmas family gatherings.
“You may feel uncomfortable putting on masks and practicing physical distance when you're near friends and family, but doing so contributes significantly to everyone's being safe and healthy”, the organisation published on its website, reports ATS.
That warning comes as WHO General Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebrreesus announced that over the week the number of weekly deaths increased by about 60%, with a doubling in Europe in the last six weeks.
The majority of cases and deaths are in Europe and America”, he said.
O BSH noted that despite some brittle advances made against the new choreography, COVID-19 broadcast remains widespread and called for continued care and pursuit of undertaken measures.
