According to the newspaper “rone”, one of those arrested is an Austrian of Afghan origin whose prints were found in the weapon used by the bomber last month.
A prosecutor's spokeswoman confirmed the arrests, but did not elaborate on the second person arrested.
In the event that took place in early November, police executed the 20-year-old Albanian-born who undertook the attack, which Austrian authorities described as an Islamic terrorist.
Until now, 15 people have been arrested for the attack, while investigations into the finding of persons involved expanded and to Germany and Switzerland.
