“We have had a tremendous commitment to the dissolution of this dysfunctional assembly and to overcoming this enormous political crisis triggered after the October 6th 2019 elections. The year 2020 is marked by enormous failures. As a result of a huge fraud that took place on October 6, 2019, we had two governments that degraded our institutional life, our economy, our education at all levels, until we also had mismanagement of pandemic”.
The “finally came great news from the Constitutional Court, which put an end to this highly scandalous folly of this year in Kosovo politics. We believe that the PDK in the elections, which we believe will be held at as soon as possible, will mark a great victory and rule the country for the next four years”.
Tahiri, in Info Magazine of Kosovo, has said the PDK will make public the candidate name for prime minister the following few days.
For this discussion, it hasn't started today. This discussion began much earlier. We've worked to make the country go to elections and stop this degradation. We are in finalisation of all this commitment and I believe that in the coming days we will come up with our candidate for prime minister and our electoral list. The PDK is a party that this period has been in opposition, so it has not been in the first government or in the second. The PDK is the most reliable and secure partner of Kosovo's citizens, and we are convinced that in these elections we will mark extraordinary victories and rule the country”.
Despite the PDK's leadership in office until former head Kadri Wessel is facing the Special Court, Tahiri has said the PDK is the most prepared <x0partia and with the most serious project to come up against citizens”.
But does the Democratic Party of Kosovo target the post of president?
“To The PDK is important and competes for the prime minister's post. It is important for us to govern the country with a prime minister from the PDK. We're focused on the PDK leading the country. Obviously, the president's position is also an important position, but for us we consider it much more important that Kosovo's future prime minister come from PDK”.
