Tahiri: Kosovo to head towards early elections

He said former Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the Vetevendosje Movement find common, saying that the country in this situation, as they name the chaotic ones, needs a solution, and the solution is in early elections.

But for Tahiri the opposition always requires elections.

“We have been as an alliance during the opposition and we know that the opposition will always elections is natural.”, Tahiri said.

He believes the best solution for Kosovo is for former Prime Minister Haradinaj to become Kosovo president.

“We have been very direct and sincere when there was a political crisis we have offered Ramush Haradinaj a candidate for president. I'm meeting coalition partners this week where we will discuss this topic, so I'm talking about the Democratic League of Kosovo, then the Initiative and the AAK, and that's where support to Haradinaj” will be clarified, Tahiri relates.

Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's party, Ramush Haradinaj, appears committed to the post of president, while Zv. Prime Minister Tahiri does not rule out the possibility, for Kosovo to move towards early elections, if there were no reflection and consensus from other political forces to accept the alternative proposed by the AAK.
