Special expects to respond to all institutions, asked 19 officials' employment file

Kosovo's headquarters justice institution at The Hague, which is accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity former political and military leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, appears to be not very satisfied with the co-operation that (s) other security and justice institutions in Kosovo are offering. Finally, [...]
The Special Court, which has priority over all other courts in the country, is demanding that other security and justice institutions in Kosovo, such as police, Prosecution and Intelligence, co-operate with him.
Special spokesman Michael Doyle has said Express that Kosovo's security and justice institutions are obliged to provide co-operation.
“cannot comment or speculate about questions about operational issues. As a general matter, the Law for Specialised Chambers and the Specialised Prosecutor's Office envisions that all authorities in Kosovo are obliged to co-operate with the” institutions have said Doyle.
Although the Specialised Prosecutor's Office and Kosovo Specialised Chambers (co-known as the Special Court) are considered part of Kosovo's judicial system, it appears that in Kosovo they are not treated as such nor institutionally.
International Sources Express have indicated that the Special Court has asked an institution in Kosovo for information on 19 people. He has requested their employment file at one of the security institutions.
Similarly, it becomes known that the information requested by the Special has been unable to obtain, faced with rejection by an institution that was submitted to the requirements.
The Law on Specialised Chambers and Specialised Prosecutor's Office orders that persons and institutions in Kosovo respond to special court requirements, including those for obtaining official data and documents.
“Taking into account the rights of the accused specified in Article 21, all subjects and persons in Kosovo co-operate with the Specialised Chambers and the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, and without delay respect any request for assistance or orders given by the Specialised Chambers or Prosecutor's Office”, says at the first point of Article 53 of this law, which follows even the official documents.
This law also gives the Special Court the opportunity to order the transfer of procedures within their jurisdiction by any prosecutor or other court on Kosovo's territory, at any stage of investigation or judicial procedures. The special can also give the order to a court in Kosovo to hand over whatever judicial or investigation is involved in its jurisdiction.
In addition, all Kosovo courts and prosecutors are obliged to report the Specialised Chambers and Prosecutor's Office immediately if they are aware of any criminal proceedings involved in the jurisdiction of the Special Court.
The Special Court, which in 2015 had received the approval of Kosovo Assembly deputies, is based in The Hague, the Netherlands, under the Kosovo Agreement with the state of Priser on February 15, 2016. The specialist is a temporary institution with a specific mandate and jurisdiction involving several crimes against humanity, war crimes, and other pre-priced crimes in Kosovo legislation, which are said to have occurred between 1 January 1998 and 31 December 2000.
All employees of the Special Court -- including prosecutors, investigators, analysts, security specialists and supporters -- are foreign citizens, from any European Union member states, or come from five contributing states that are not members of the EU as: Canada, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey and the United States.
