Haradinaj-Stubla and her Logar counterpart shared their views on the political situation in the region and relevant states, voicing the need for even greater co-operation among the countries of the region, in the best of peace and stability in the Western Balkans.
In this context, the chief of Kosovo diplomacy expressed the need for a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, which inevitably envisions mutual recognition between the two countries and is based on the three non-negotiable principles that the territorial integrity of the constitutional order and the unitary character of the state of Kosovo is not affected.
As noted in the announcement, Haradinaj- Stubula, speaking of excellent reports between the two states, which have strong economic co-operation among themselves, said Slovenia is a model country for the region on the Plain of Integration, and that its contribution and support for Kosovo, as a country that knows the region well, is key to progress.
Slovenian counterpart Logar said Slovenia is committed to further full support for Kosovo in both the integration process and the dialogue with Serbia.
The ministers agreed on a meeting in the future aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, even on the eve of Slovenia's EU presidency in the second half of 2021.
Slovenia continues to be an important investor in Kosovo, and in this context the two co-ordinators agreed to deepen the co-operation and removal of all possible barriers.
