The attacks have targeted government troops, Iranian Allied forces and fighters from the Lebanese group
The Jewish state has consistently pledged to prevent its enemy Iran from gaining a ground in Syria. Tehran has supported President Bashar al-Assad throughout the war, nearly a decade. A military spokeswoman told AFP that the figures in the report were correct by 20 December.
The latest attack on Syria, which Israel blamed, occurred on Wednesday, when missiles from the Jewish state hit a military position near Damascus, the Syrian news agency SANA reported, citing a military source. SANA said a Syrian soldier was killed and three others were injured. Israel's military refused to comment on the incident.
In general, Israeli combat planes took 1,400 shares <x0-operial” in 2020, the report said, without detailing.
