The situation with COVIDD-19, U.S.A., marks the deadliest week since April

The United States approaches 15 million infections reported to COVID-19 and is increasing the number of cases at the highest rate ever. Officials are struggling to increase vaccine protocols as well, Knn reports.

In the last five days, the US has added a million new cases. This amounts to more than 14.9 million, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The US also reported 15,588 deaths in the last seven days, marking the most deadly week since April.

And for the sixth day in a row, more than 100,000 people are being treated for the virus in hospitals throughout the country.
