Serwer: Vucinqiki will recognise Kosovo, we must expect someone else instead

University of “Professor John Hopkins” in the United States, Daniel Serwer, has said that Americans and Europeans should work together to resolve the Kosovo issue because it is clear that none of them can do it alone. Serwer spoke after last week's debate at Congress [...]
Serwer spoke after last week's debate at the American Congress, where he participated, during which participants agreed that Serbia should recognise Kosovo and that it should become a member of the UN.
He said he believes that Vuciq will not recognise Kosovo and that another president must be expected to come to this decision, Report Express broadcasts.
“ (President of Serbia Aleksandar) Vucinic clearly said it would not be the Serbian president who will recognise Kosovo. I think he was serious. I think we should be willing to wait for the president who will do so if necessary. In the meantime, we will have to think about a bilateral agreement, but only if Kosovo becomes a member of the UN”, he said.
According to him, the European Union should mediate in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
I think I've said some new things about Pristina and Belgrade... I think Americans should be in a supportive role when we talk about dialogue (about normalising relations between the two sides)... I think the EU should be a mediator in dialogue. It has more impact on them”, Serwer said.
He added that “one of the messages of these talks, as Americans understood, and many Europeans as well, is that they should result in mutual recognition and exchange of embassies.
