At the meeting it was confirmed that in recent days Gjilan has marked a decline in the number of positive cases, where currently there are 231 active cases.
Director of the Regional Public Health Centre in Gjilan, Bayhane Sefiu, has stated that after staff training there, they will begin from today on the Serological tests.
“First, primary and secondary health health staff will be tested to continue with police and all citizens. In the meantime, soon we'll start working tests for RT- PCR. We're happy to have reached this level of thanks to the device that came to Gjilan”, Sefiu declared.
Otherwise, the general state of confronting the pandemic in Gjilan is this: out of 7397 tests, 2927 have proved positive, 2609 have recovered, 86 dead, 232 active cases, 55 in respiratory and 80 pending samples.
