Scientists: If you have an expensive car, maybe you're an asshole.

Science seems very unanimous about this: the drivers of expensive cars are the worst. A new study found that the drivers of expensive cars are less likely to allow pedestrians to cross the street and wear ears for every $1,000 worth more [...]
A new study has found that the drivers of expensive cars are less likely to let pedestrians cross the street and listen for every $1,000 worth of cars, they stop 3 percent less and less.
Researchers from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas had speculated that owners of expensive cars “felt a superior sense of footiness” and did not empathize with them, writes CNN, translates Periscopi.
They came to this conclusion after asking volunteers to cross the street in zebras hundreds of times, filming and then analyzing the responses of car drivers.
Researchers used a white man and a black one, and a white and black woman finding that cars were more likely to stop for white participants and female participants.
Cars were halted 31% of cases for women and white participants, compared with 24% of the time when pedestrians were men and 25 percent while pedestrians were black.
But the best seer if a car would stop or not was his price. /Periscope
