Through a media report from the SBASK, it has been said that the concerns of education workers and their reactions to this issue are growing and the SBASK deciding on the voice of membership can also proclaim union actions.

Full announcement:

We warn over time that the concerns of educational workers and their reactions are growing and the SBASK deciding on the voice of membership can also be declared in union and thus create a situation that no one wants, at the beginning of the second half anniversary, expected to begin on January 18th.

The SBASK has backed Hoti Government's decisions so that health workers and police can have additional means in their salaries because they have faced closely the risk of touching Avid 19. But we've been waiting for good reason for Government Hoti to take the same action for workers in the education sector, because they've been developing the teaching process at educational institutions, and that's what the large number of people affected by this virus testify to. From September 14th, when the school year began, the number of education workers affected by Ovidius has marked continued growth and only at the November 11th interval December 14th, affected by Covid, were 2301 educational workers. The large number of people affected by Covid in educational institutions has made the decision from responsible institutions to have the first half anniversary completed before the initial time. This reality has had to affect the Government and divide means for addition to the aga, even for the education sector. This did not happen and therefore the SBASK requires the current government to share additional 100 euros in salaries for all employees in the education sector for October, November and December of this year to continue in the next year as long as the pandemic lasts, or until it gets better and doesn't start implementing the wage law.

We warn over time that the concerns of educational workers and their reactions to this issue are growing and the SBASK deciding on the voice of membership can also be declared in Cindical action and thus create a situation that nobody wants, at the beginning of the second half anniversary, expected to launch on January 18th.

The SBASK was also prepared to hold meetings with representatives of parliamentary parties, who are in opposition, as they had warned them not to vote on the 2021 budget to ask them to vote on the Law on the budget, but by amending it and creating clear budgetary lines to cover the demands of the education sector's Kolekt Contarate in order for issues determined with the contract to be realised without any need to be reached in courts. But since events are happening without waiting and are taking place at high speed, the SBASK publicly addresses Kosovo MPs to vote on the 2021 budget, respecting those requests of the SBASK.

We remember that members of the SBASK have realised all rights from the Kolective Agreement, whether in dialogue, whether through courts, but the state budget, along with the means of realising these rights, has had to share additional means for judicial taxes and other parties in these court processes.
