AKR chairman Behgjet Pacolli has reacted to a chronice of KTV and Time, which he says was biased.
He writes:
They look very biased to me, kind and unprofessional...!
It's about the title in KTV and in the Time Ditore of tonight about my <x0paga“while I was part of the government. For the sake of the public, but not because of the biased democracy of the authors of this title. Let me explain:
I, even at the time I was president (my salary has gone to the people in need) but even in the period I was in government 2011-2014, I didn't get a salary.
In 2017, when I took office in government, I agreed with the MPJ Secretariat that my salary goes directly to the “Bahgjet Pacolli” and through it, is given to students in the form of a scholarship for paying schooling and other support to the people in need.
At that time, the request went to the then secretary of the Foreign Ministry, including the foundation's accounts, and this is considered closed work for me.
On the other hand, the foundation had continued with regular scholarship payments for students, as well as periodic aid to recovery of persons in need abroad, as well as in other areas.
For vague reasons, at the end of mandate by Secretary I MPJs have been informed that wages have never been paid.
The secretary's argument was that MPJ can't deposit them on the foundation for technical causes, but the same should be kept in my private account first. So, while I've been practicing the post of foreign minister in the government, I've never been repaid with wages, labors, or payments, I've done the same from my private account, payments that have often been not only for me but also for delegations that have been working for the state of Kosovo. The whole idea has been and remains that those tools, through the “Bahgjet Pacolli”, go to students, Kosovo youth and those in need.
And as for information from those who are malicious but people of good will, the “Bahgjet Pacolli”, so far, since the end of the war, documented, has contributed to the needs of the population of over 33m euros, in aid to people in need, for healing abroad, for students, homes, for educational, cultural, historical, etc.
It's neither correct nor professional to manipulate with something that's sacred to me: stretching hands for those who need it is sacred. I'm afraid when I see how much democracy has gone to some frustrated people who infect an entire society... God save us from these people!
