Before being transferred to London, Green lived and worked in Moscow for 13 years, recently as founder of the Centre for the Study of the New Media and Society in the New Economic School, and prior to that as deputy director of the Carnegie Moscow Centre.
He has two books written, while his latest book is “Putin vs people: The dangerous policy of a Various Russia (Yale University Press, coauthor with Grame Robertson). His previous book was Moscow on Movement: Power and opposition at Putin Russia (Sanford University Press, 2014). He is editor-in-chief of Russian politics and justice.

A 103-page study published on the official page of the European Parliament, titled “Forgotting and Deinformation News in the Western Balkans and identifying effective ways against them, includes Kosovo on two pages, the newspaper Inseder writes.
This study, which tells of the main trends and patterns of deninforms and the fight against deninforms throughout the region in the period from 2018 to 2020, explains how this phenomenon worked in Kosovo as well.
