“Sputnik V has repeatedly shown its effectiveness, despite past mutations in the S protein,” he told media during today, suggests Russia Today, the Perscope translation.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov found that Russia was following the latest information coming from British scientists, adding that any reaction would be taken from the government task force for coronarys.
On Sunday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson found that the identification of Covid-19's new mutation could be 70% more contagious than existing variants. So far, there is no data implying that the new mutation is more deadly.
After the announcement, the United Kingdom imposed unprecedented austerity measures on freedom of movement.
