Retrial required for Darko Tasiqi, lowering his sentence is considered disappointing

Representatives of the village of Krusha the Great and Little Krusha have held a meeting today with the deputies of the Commission for Human Rights, Gender Equality, for Ungenerated Persons and Petitions. From deputies and ombudsman they have demanded that the case of Darko Tasic be brought back to the retrial, until [the] landing [...]
Greater Krusha village head Peace Hoti, has demanded that each association of family missing members engage lawyers, since he said it is the only way to send criminals to prison.
241 citizens were massacred. Many fatherless children are left of this massacre. Never did criminals get cuffed. We're here to reduce the sentence of Darko Tasic from Krusha e Vogel. We don't want interference in justice, we want to know about every member of the family they have. The Krusians ask for you honored deputies, the first job you can get for any association to hire a lawyer who provides us to send criminals before the court. We just want justice, let it be anywhere in the world. I'm asking you to provide a lawyer for us. A prayer does not speak of politically unfinding”, he said.
Gani Zylfiu, the head of the village of Krusha e Vogel, said they are disappointed with the lowering sentence by the Court of Appeals for Darko Tasic.
“We were disappointed that criminal Darko Tasic was sentenced to 22 years in prison, the second disappointment was a decrease in punishment. We've come to ask you for help. I'm one of those creative witnesses that Darko Tasic made. Our disappointments at the decrease in punishment are great. A murder is being sentenced to 20 years, while a criminal, today the Court of Appeals, brought him in 12 years, after several years I am convinced that he will be released”, he said.
Fahrije Hoti, from the Great Krusha, has demanded that the MPs and the ombudsman commit to having the retrial for Darko Tasiqi, for which he said I must get the due sentence.
This is unfortunately Kosovo, and this is justice. I had asked that the case be re-judged once again, let him get the due sentence of”, he said.
Ombudsman Naim Qeyaj said that, “from the assessments I have found as a state and as a society we have done little in this direction and cannot be satisfied. There has been a lack of a comprehensive policy on investigating these cases”.
Commission Deputy Chairman Besa Ismajli said that with the issue of the dead, they do not make politics.
“We don't make politics with this issue, we do a lot of pressure on politicians to deal with this matter”, she said.
The commission's deputy chairman, said that in terms of the request for the case to return to the retrial, they will invite Kosovo Judiciary Council leader to report.
